The park is open from Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm and from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm.

The park was inaugurated in 1911 and was originally known as the Parc d'Anderlecht. It was designed by Monsieur Jules Buyssems, Architecte Paysagiste, who was the Inspector of Plantations for the City of Brussels from 1904 to 1937. The park has a total area of 15 hectares and is part of a long chain of green spaces in the commune.
The park is home to over 40 remarkable trees, including a large oak tree named Albert located behind the cascades. The park also has a dog toilet located at the entrance on Square Egide Rombaux.
